20/30 Somethings This group is designed for those entering college, and/ or beginning a career in their 20's to 30's. They focus on worship, prayer, fellowship and outreach. If you are in your 20's and feel led to be part of this group you are most certainly welcome! Angel Food Ministries An outreach to our local community and open to anyone who wishes to save on their grocery bill. There are no income requirements. $1 from each unit purchased allows the ministry to give back to the community in need of food. For $30.00 you will receive an average of 18 items(frozen meats & vegetables, and some staples) which are generally valued between $60-$70. One box feeds a family of 4 for a week or a single person for about a month. You may order as many as you want. Specials are also offered each month for purchase but you must purchase at least one box of food to participate in purchasing any specials. Please consider ordering for your family or church gatherings, as the prices are so low and the quality is excellent. Children's Church 6-8 The children's church is a ministry designed to help children learn biblical principles and provide a fun atmosphere for growth. They meet in the bible study room at 10:45am every Sunday except communion Sunday which is the 1st Sunday of each month. Dance Ministry The vision God gave for the New River Dance Ministry is not only to bless the community of New River Fellowship, but to take it outside the walls of the church and minister to the community of believers and non-believers. The Arts are coming to life in the church and we want to capture that and glorify God! We do a wide range of dance types which include ballet, hip hop, Irish, messianic, modern and signing in song/dance. We meet weekly and are scheduling dances regularly. Men's Ministry The men's steering committee are committed to establishing opportunities for the men to come together once a quarter to encourage one another and grow deeper in God's Word! Mother's Group This is a group designed to encourage Mothers! They meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of every month usually at the church to have study and learn from one another about being Godly wives and mothers to their families. They meet at 11am on these days and share a meal together along with their children. Come and feel welcome anytime! Please note: During the month of July, the mom's group will be on break. Prayer Ministry Prayer is a vital part of our walk as Christians. Our LifeGroups meet every two weeks and pray during their times together. Our corporate prayer time is now on Tuesday evenings at 7pm in the lobby. All are welcome to join at anytime. Our prayer email group consists of individuals in our church who pray whenever the needs arises. Anyone with a prayer concern may send it to prayer@newriverfellowship.com and it will be sent out to the prayer intercessory group.
